Activities

One of the greatest benefits of living in an adult care community is the opportunity to interact with and enjoy others. Serenity Elderly Care offers a wide variety of activities that encourage residents to socialize with one another. Whether playing a game of cards, or listening to a live entertainment, the goal is to develop friendships, enjoy an active lifestyle, and have plenty of fun. Activities are:

Planned per resident abilities and preferences.
Exercise program approved by doctors and individualized by licensed physical therapist.

Levels of Care

Basic Care

24 Hour Supervision with caregiver sleep at night.
Monitoring and Ensuring safety.
Room, Board, Housekeeping, Meals, Snacks, Laundry, and Activities.
Minimal Assistance for transfers and toileting.
Medication Administration by trained Staff.
Nurse on call.
Visiting Physicians/Home Care Nurse, PT and OT/Hospice Care available.
Weight/Nutritional Monitoring.
Ambulates with minimal assistance with hand held or use of walker and cane.
Minimal assistance with transfers.
Memory Care (ALZHEIMER'S, DEMENTIA).

Moderate Care

As listed under Basic Care.
Incontinence Care such as toileting, and diapering, foley catheter care.
Moderate Assistance by Staff to help with bathing, dressing, grooming of resident(s) with hands on assistance.
Requires frequent verbal instructions and reminders for Activities of Daily Living, such as meals, medication, activities, etc.
Special Diet ( pureed) with assistance in feeding( requiring 1:1).
Memory Care (ALZHEIMER'S, DEMENTIA).

Maximum Care

Staff provides total care with dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting and feeding.
Bowel and bladder incontinence.
Wandering (attempts to walk out of home on frequent basis and awake at night most of the time).
Sun downers Syndrome (becomes more confused and agitated and combative in late afternoon and evening).
Wheelchair Dependent (requires lifting by staff or mechanical device (hoyer lift).
Bed-bound (does not get out of bed).
